They are beautiful. In a few weeks, we will see acres and acres of land covered in the Texas State Flower. I would like to take this time to debunk an ‘urban myth’ for Texas. IT IS NOT ILLEGAL TO PICK BLUEBONNETS. However, it is illegal to remove or destroy anything on State property - which could be translated to read it’s illegal to pick the flowers. You should not pick them on state or anyone else’s property without permission. This is Texas - you may get yourself shot. You can, however, pick them from your own property, but they just look so pretty - try to mow around them! They last longer in the ground, believe me. And if you want proof -
visit here. . .
Thanks and have a nice day!
