Why don’t they make army tanks out of the bones in my pinky toe? I’ve smacked it into more things then I care to recall; most recently, the wooden frame of the couch this morning. Yet, it manages to hurt for a few seconds and then be fine. What is it that makes it able to withstand such fierce abuse without yielding? I don’t know, but damn - forget it, I still don’t like the way it feels when I smack it into something. And the delay? What’s with the 30 second wait time for the pain sensations to travel from my toe, up to my brain? Oh well, I guess Thank Gawd, I’m not a pinky toe.
