My 7 year old got her first answering machine message this weekend - it’s so cute to hear another 7 year old say in a soft quiet voice “Can you please call me back wherever you are?” No name. No information. Just a desperate plea for conversation so they can talk about. . . what was on Arthur this morning or how the Berenstain Bears are doing. It must be a hectic world for two little girls!
